What fun!!!
Poppies are in full bloom at the Speedway Offices near Enon. It looked like we were in for a storm, but we braved the weather and got in a photo shoot while these flowers were at their prime.  Due to the gray and dull skies, most shots are edited to show a more photogenic sky.

Ahhhh.....summer is here! I am so thankful to be able to spend these halcyon mornings on our front porch. Coffee, a good novel, birds, roses, and some good music....what more could you ask for?

Oh yes...a ferocious and brave dog to protect me from the chipmunks....
